The Orofacial Pain clinic at A M medical centre is dedicated for management of various pain sensations of the head, neck, jaw, face and mouth region. It is a chronic condition which is associated with some trigger points. This annoying kind of pain radiates from these trigger points. Oral and maxillofacial pain relief specialists manage a spectrum of disorders including temporomandibular, neuropathic pain like trigeminal neuralgia, bell’s palsy, glossopharyngeal neuralgia, auriculotemporal neuralgia, spasms of facial muscles like hemifacial Spasm, Blepharospasm, neurovascular and sleep apnoea.

We focus on the cause for better diagnosis and treatment plan also to give a clear opinion on the prognosis of the condition. We follow a protocol of inter professional department panel discussions to plan strategies evaluation techniques for diagnosis and treatment plan of MPDS. We educate our patients for regular screening so that none of the symptoms go unnoticed and treatment is not delayed. Treatment includes both palliative and curative care. It includes medicines, diet, exercises, life-style change, splints. We also offer trigger point injections, physical therapy and dry needling.
